Tribute to Rich Youngs

October 13, 1960 – October 13, 2005

Rich Youngs was an Old Pro for nine years. He was the father of two children; Alana and Dylan. He was a sales rep for a pharmaceutical company. But none of those things really defined him. Mostly, Rich was just a good guy.

Anyone who saw Rich at an Old Pros meeting or softball game knew that he had a unique way of telling a joke. He had a distinctive laugh, and when he started doing his ‘chicken scratch’ we all knew he was on a roll!

Rich always had a smile, a kind word, and a brave face. He never talked negatively about anyone. He treated others, the way he wanted to be treated. He treated them like friends. Rich was a good friend and he was my friend. He will be greatly missed.
