Night Softball

On Dec. 2 the Turfler team worked their way through the losers bracket to dethrone the 3-time defending champion Meyer/Northcote twice to win the double-elimination championship. In addition to the two closely contested and entertaining games, the crowd was treated to plenty of pizza and Captain Morgan.

For the first time ever we had four umpires for the finals. Many thanks to Mike Shaw (crew chief, grounds crew, food manager, etc.), and umpires Scott Zuckerman, Don Mouradian, Steve Trifoglio, Dennis Newman, and Chip Zuckerman.

The next open division night league should begin February. Click here to download an application and be aware last time some guys were turned away because the teams were full.
